Ideas and activities to help you organise wet playtimes - we are currently developing some activities to occupy children and give them some fun things to do when they are inside during wet playtimes, so watch this space!

The training pack includes one Senior Supervisors manual, this contains: the five training modules with guidance notes on how to present them, how to manage a team of Supervisors, organisation of rotas and routines, deploying staff, new initiatives and how to introduce them, practical solutions to common problems, organised games and wet play activities.

The five R.O.L.Y.S. modules cover: social and emotional development, recognising bullying, Supervisor skills, body language, Rights, Respect, Responsibility, improving communication and continuity, games, wet play activities, school policies and their relevance to the Lunchtime Supervisor.

Your own Senior Supervisor or the Supervisors Line Manager presents the training because they are the ones who know how your school runs. This keeps the cost low, rather than using off-site trainers that don't really know what will work best at your school. The manual will also be an ongoing resource that you will always have to hand if you want to make further changes to the lunchtime organisation. Recently employed staff can be trained from the same manual so that all your staff will have had the same instruction.

By training your lunchtime staff they will feel valued and appreciated, this is always a good way to motivate staff to do their best.

• Each school receives sheets that can be photocopied, for use at your school only, to help you when presenting the training sessions.
• Postage and packing is included in the total price.
• One price for however many supervisors you employ.

Any number of Supervisors employed at your school gets five training sessions each. Each session lasting 1-2 hours. Compare this to other 'off-site' training or the cost of having a trainer visit your school.
